I am primarily interested in constructing an empirically sound theory of meaning. The CNRG framework provides a rigorous means of trying to understand the complexities of neural processing in a biologically constrained manner and is thus a good candidate for underwriting a general theory of mental meaning. In line with my philosophical interests, being a researcher with the CNRG allows me to explore the nature of distributed representation, biological computation, dynamical systems, and the role computer modeling plays in our understanding of complex systems.
