I'm an undergraduate student working with Paul Thagard and Chris
Eliasmith at
the CNRG. My current research focuses on modelling neurologically realistic mechanisms of emotional cognition using the CNRG framework.
Specifically, we
are working on a large-scale model of reward processing that shows
promise in
explaining a range of psychological phenomena important to decision making, "neuroeconomics" and social cognition. In previous work at the
CNRG, I
have modelled abductive inference at the neural level, and explored the explanatory efficacy of quantum computational theories of mind.
